Golf
Since our opening, Maple City has hosted several provincial and national championships.
Maple City Country Club was formed in 1957, and was originally designed by C. E. “Robbie” Robinson, and subsequently re-designed by Harold Watson, both of whom were protégés of Stanley Thompson. Our course is set in a rolling and scenic landscape bordered by the Thames River, and the well-manicured fairways and greens provide challenging and enjoyable golf for players of all skill levels. A complete practice facility, with a driving range, chipping and bunker area, and putting green, is provided for members and guests.
Maple City prides itself on being a family oriented private club that offers many social and club golf events, and a casual dining experience in our clubhouse. Our Junior Golf program, run by our professional staff during July and August, is an excellent way for members’ children to learn to play and enjoy the game. A heated pool and licensed patio area are also available for members’ families and their guests.
Our Director of Golf, Mark DeActis, provides a fully stocked Pro Shop to meet all your golf equipment and clothing needs. Private lessons are also offered by Mark and his professional staff.
